Jennifer is our loyal customer service liaison who’s been with us for more than 15 years! A proud grandmother, she’s likely to be the first person you’ll talk to when you call us, and she loves chatting with our customers!
Julie is our commercial manager, responsible for administrative tasks such as IT and Human Resources. An accountant in a previous life, she brings a wealth of knowledge with her and is always a source of wisdom!
Our beloved accounts officer, Suzanne, brings with her more than 13 years of experience working for Murphy’s. She’s a dedicated team member who always goes above and beyond the expectations of both Murphy Plumbing and our customers.
Our managing director, Andrew is an expert project manager and the face that our construction clients put our name to. He has worked for Murphy Plumbing for more than 30 years and is a trade qualified plumber. Andrew has the same strong work ethic that his father, Gerard Murphy was known for when he started the business in 1965. He has overseen plumbing work on numerous projects, including the Hunter Medical Research Institute, Singleton Army Base, Calvary Mater Hospital and many more.
John Edwards is a Project Manager, overseeing hydraulic servicing on large construction projects. Starting at the age of 15, John has worked on and managed many large-scale projects, including renovation work at John Hunter Hospital’s Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, Newcastle Private Hospital, Lingard Private Hospital and Marketown Shopping Centre. He has been a trade qualified plumber for 45 years, 30 of which have been with the Murphy team.
Craig Gibson is licensed plumber and member of the project management team, joining us 3 years ago with 33 years of industry experience under his belt. He’s worked on numerous high-rise projects in Sydney, as well as plumbing in Sydney’s Cross City Tunnel and John Clem Tunnel. A valued member of our team, he’s already worked with us on many large-scale construction projects on mining and construction sites.
A third-generation member of the Murphy plumbing family, Callan oversees commercial and domestic maintenance services. He is experienced and takes control of tough situations—a must for someone in his position. As a plumber of 7 years, you’ll still find him onsite helping to get things done when he’s not scheduling maintenance. You’ll also take note of his eye for detail and his ability to schedule required maintenance in a time-sensitive fashion to minimise headaches for our customers.
